INSTALLATION WORK

Installation for my solo exhibition took place today at Sanshin Gallery Zen with a lot of help received from the gallery curators as well as the people of the picture frame company. The reduced number of works makes the exhibition more attractive since visitors can appreciate each piece of work. Even the largest piece of work looks small in this big exhibition space. It makes me feel to challenge to make larger pieces of work.
2/27は搬入日。学芸員の方々といつも額装でお世話になっている会社の方にお手伝いいただいて気持ちのよい展示が出来上がった。今までかなり絞り込んだ展示点数をさらに絞り込み、一点一点落ち着いて見られる美術館レイアウトになった。この広い展示空間ではかなり大きな作品でも小さく見える。ここでは大作にチャレンジする画家の気持ちがよくわかる。
