Life with Colors, Havana, Cuba 2018 (Print Size: 20 in x 20 in / 51 cm x 51 cm) In my trip to Cuba two years ago , I was able to see the lifestyle and nature of the beautiful country. After the revolution, the economic development has remained slow with constant shortage of commodities and food. Main means of transportation is still on foot and by horse-drawn carriage. Strangely, however, I did not feel the misery and insecurity often found with poverty. Education is free to the university, and medical treatment is also free. In a socialist country without economic disparity, art and music seemed to play an important role to sustain their life. I saw people living optimistically, gently and lively surrounded by old historical buildings painted in beautiful pastel colors. Comments are closed.
