By showing smaller number of works per wall space, visitors can appreciate each piece of work taking more time. It is nice to see many visitors stay one hour or more to see the whole work. ファインアート作品はゆったりした展示が個々の作品をじっくり観ていただくのに大切だと感じる。そのあたりが複数の作品でメッセージを伝えるフォトジャーナリズム系の作品とは異なるのだろう。今回の展覧会では１時間以上会場にいる熱心なお客様がかなりいるのは嬉しい。このような広いギャラリー空間はとても貴重だ。 My solo exhibition started with many art enthusiasts coming on the first day and a couple of press interviews. Nice to feel that visitors are enjoying the show. 展覧会初日から美術鑑賞に熱心な皆様にお越しいただき、作品を囲んで会話も弾む。来訪された方に展示を楽しんでいただけるのはアーティストとして何事にも代えがたい。ギャラリー全体が大自然の空間になっていると何人かの方に言われた。  Installation for my solo exhibition took place today at Sanshin Gallery Zen with a lot of help received from the gallery curators as well as the people of the picture frame company. The reduced number of works makes the exhibition more attractive since visitors can appreciate each piece of work. Even the largest piece of work looks small in this big exhibition space. It makes me feel to challenge to make larger pieces of work. 2/27は搬入日。学芸員の方々といつも額装でお世話になっている会社の方にお手伝いいただいて気持ちのよい展示が出来上がった。今までかなり絞り込んだ展示点数をさらに絞り込み、一点一点落ち着いて見られる美術館レイアウトになった。この広い展示空間ではかなり大きな作品でも小さく見える。ここでは大作にチャレンジする画家の気持ちがよくわかる。
